Description:
What is broken is no good. But what if breaking affords us the chance to surround ourselves with something we before had to face, flat, unbendable, unforgiving?
The breaking of glass is an avoided property. I used this unwelcome ability to create through destruction. I changed the original materials possibilities from being stiff, square and resistant to being soft, flexible and rounded. The resulting options are defined by the materials new structure. It behaves like a textile, protecting us from the outside. It is like a membrane pervious and embracing us.
