August Ericksen
August Ericksen is a Seattle-based artist who works in a variety of mediums, but most recently plastic sculpture. Ericksen, a student in the UW’s Photo/Media BA program, started out as a large format photographer focusing on land use and environment, but felt constrained by the medium. Since then he has moved to sculpture, still considering human interaction with natural systems.
