Conduction No 1-8
Cast glass, silver mirroring, metal mounting, 21 x 22 x 2 cm

Glass cools rapidly when poured on steel plates, which will create an uneven cooled surface that refracts light differently. Those panels are heat trackers and visualize cooling stages. Through intentionally controlling your casting directions patterns of heat zones create intricate details. Heat is a change in temperature through a source that makes the molecules move faster or slower. It can be looked at as an internal vibration in materials, which I tried to visualize by documenting cooling patterns.
